Trader / Company Profile |
| Each trader or company gets a page to display information about themselves. In addition to this we display a Google™ Map showing their location, and our Rating and Review system, that shows you at a glance their rating within our database. |

Our Trader Rating System |
Our Trader Rating System shows at a glance whether the trader has been Verified and Vetted by us, and Rated and Recommended by their customers.
Selecting the traders with the highest score gives you the peace of mind that their credentials have been checked. |

Verified |
We verify that the traders listed on our site are registered with an accredited Trade Body or Association such as Corgi, Federation of Master Builders etc.
Only those traders that we have manually verified will be granted a tick to say that they have passed our verification criteria. Verification counts as one point towards their overall vetting score. |

Vetting Score |
We score traders using a 9 point verification process. Checking takes time as we will contact previous customers and physically check documentation such as their current Public Liability Insurance, banking details etc, as shown below.

- References complete a Yourlocaltrades questionnaire
- Trader’s Public Liability Insurance verified
- Trader’s Address verified
- Trader’s Business account verified
- Trader’s Trading History verified

Customer Recommendations |
Customers can recommend traders that do a good job, or not recommend them by finding the trader in our database and giving them a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
We prevent traders from recommending themselves and inflating their own rating, or rating other traders poorly and so adversely affecting a competitors rating, and all ratings are logged and checked by us to prevent abuse. |

Overall Customer Rating |
| Customers can also give traders a satisfaction rating from 1 (Unsatisfied) to 6 (Highly Satisfied), by sliding their mouse over the star rating. |
