By registering your company with us and following our simple verification process, we give prospective customers peace of mind, that your company comes recommended and verified. By requesting real customer testimonials and recommendations, we can reinforce that message.
You get full control over your company profile, you can write as much as you like to showcase your company, add links back to your own website, insert your company logo with the ability to even upload a video should you have one. We have also added the ability to load a thumbnail of your website homepage too, we do this for every company that registers and has a website.

We verify that when your Company is listed on our site you are registered with an accredited Trade Body or Association such as Gas Safety Register for example.
Only those companies that we have manually verified will be granted a tick to say that they have passed our verification criteria. |

Vetting Score |

We score businesses using a 9 point verification process. Checking takes time as we will contact previous customers and physically check documentation such as your current Public Liability Insurance, banking details etc, as shown below.
- 3 References to be supplied and verified (3 points)
- References complete a Yourlocaltrades questionnaire (1 point)
- Trader’s Public Liability Insurance verified (1 point)
- Trader’s Address verified (1 point)
- Trader’s Business account verified (1 point)
- Trader’s Trading History verified (1 point)
- Traders Memberships to official associations verified (1 point)

Customer Recommendations |

Customers can also recommend you, verifying that you done a good job, or not by giving you a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
We prevent companies from recommending themselves and inflating their own rating, or rating other companies poorly and so adversely affecting a competitors rating, and all ratings are logged and checked by us to prevent abuse.
