Your tradesmen should have:
Qualifications (industry recognised such NVQ or alike)
Health and Safety Certification
Well-established portfolio
Insurance (public liability)
References
Longevity and experience
Working with professional tools (proper branded tools)
If not – STAY AWAY. Not only are you going to get a nasty, and possibly life threatening surprise, but also the end product won’t conform to national standards of safety & quality.
